DKNY

Born in 1948, Donna Ivy Faske grew up in Long island with her mother, a model and her step-father who was a tailor. Starting young, the ambitious teen began to sell her designs along New York’s famous Central Avenue at just 14 years of age.

By the mid 80s, the designer had won the title of ‘Queen of 7th Avenue’. Expanding her fashion empire to a diffusion line, Donna Karen founded her brand DKNY in 1985. Combining her initials with her love for the energy of New York City and the working women of New York’s need for smart separates, Karan created the unmistakable and break through brand.

Expanding her distinctively effortless style across, menswear, childrenswear, homewear and accessories, DKNY eye wear has become one of their most popular accessories amongst the young professional who’s looking for multipurpose sunglasses that still hold all the effortless cool that they’ve come to expect from DKNY.
